You will not only enjoy the look of Quartz but you will appreciate the fact that it is easy to maintain. It contains 90 to 94 percent ground quartz and 6 to 10 percent polymer resins and pigments which is designed for low maintenance.

There are different types of Quartz such as manufactured market Quartz. This form can withstand heat up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. However, thermal shock can take place if you put a hot pot from an oven directly on a cold Quartz counter top.

Final words of advice

Do not use strong chemicals and scrubbers on your Quartz counter tops as these will make them become dull in appearance. Use paper towels or a towel to clean up liquid spills. Use mild household cleaners if needed. Never cut anything directly on the counter tops as it will create marks in the stone.
