Francini Designer Spotlight: Erika Winters

Erika Winters, designer

Erika Winters® Design a husband-and-wife team who love to work alongside Francini Inc!

Dear readers,

Pleased to meet you; my name is Erika Winters. In this small post, I would like to tell you a little about myself, my interior and furniture design company, and perhaps most importantly, my adoration for Francini and their materials!

Erika Winters® Design is a company built on love. I am an interior designer with over 30 years of experience in the field. I started out my small business in Mexico City. I began working closely with brands, designers, and architects who shared a vision for the contemporary yet always maintaining a timeless appeal for good taste.

It was in Mexico where I met my husband, Luis Herrera, an LA architect from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, who joined me on the adventure of redirecting our company's goals to include architecture and construction services. We are now co-owners and have worked for many years in the Southern California area, but also in New York/New Jersey and back in Mexico City's exciting design and architecture scene.

How are we different from other companies? I am proud to say that we treat our clients as our friends; in fact, we almost always end up being close friends! We provide a personalized service of the very highest quality and make you fall in love with your new space. We professionally analyze what a project entails and work diligently to make you happy and satisfied with the results.

We were thrilled to be asked by Francini to participate in this blog. Our relationship with Francini is based on long trust and friendship. Francini carries the most amazing materials in the region. They understand timeless, sophisticated design like no one and have continuously made our clients satisfied.

We highly recommend beautiful stones, such as the Calacatta, Black Marquina, and Bianco Eterno marble which we have used several times. The honed finish looks insane! And since we are being specific, a shout-out is in order for the LUCASTONE™ Quartz and FORTE Porcelain Collection from Francini, which provide strong and resistant surfaces that are a delight to work with.

Erika Winters® Design was hired a few years back to work on the remodeling of a wonderful beach house in Malibu, and I can still remember by heart how we used a Quartzite Macaubas Blue stone to embellish the owner's powder room. The result was spectacular, and it remains, well, timeless! Styles come and go, but a material such as this is the focal point of any room where it is used. I hope this helps to underscore how companies like ours and Francini are on the same track, providing that wow factor that comes from doing really sound work, whether due to attention to detail, deep appreciation for design, or simply because of dedication and passion in our industry is the only way to be on top of the game.

Thank you once again to our friends at Francini for having us on your site. Please visit ours, and we will be more than happy to get you started on creating that perfect place for you:
