Quartz Salt Lake | Countertops

When people hear the name Francini Marble, what comes to their mind is marble production. Yes, we produce marble but that is not all we do. We also offer our numerous customers high quality natural stone from different parts of the world. Some of these are granite, travertine, limestone, soapstone and quartz.

Frequently some of our customers think all our natural stones come from our own mines and quarries around the world. This is not entirely true. We have our headquarters in Sun Valley, California and we also have a factory in Carrara, Italy. The point is that apart from our mining and quarrying operations, we are distributors of all forms of high quality natural stones. This means we can buy the natural resources from different parts of the world and process them to meet our very high standards.

Some of the most exotic stones in the world can be sourced from India and Brazil. Fortunately, we have operations in these two countries and this is why we always have a ready supply of great natural stones. We also have suppliers from around the world and some of our unique stones come all the way from Africa.v

Some of the most intricate activities that we carry out involve the production of quartz. People who visit our warehouse in Utah have seen great examples of quartz in Salt Lake. Quartz is one of the most useful mineral resources in the earth’s crust and it can be found in almost all forms of rock. We can get this mineral in sandstone, granite, igneous rocks and sedimentary rocks. Quartz can also be found in metamorphic rocks, layers and geodes too.

The process of getting quartz out of the earth is quite delicate. If it is not done the right way, the mineral will be damaged or destroyed. This is why we make it a point to get our supplies of quartz from expert miners in Brazil and parts of the USA.

Quartz is used in radios and TVs. It is also used for radar. Quartz is used in the manufacturing process for clocks, watches, prisms, soap and sandpaper. Some jewelers also use quartz as crystal gems. As you can see, this mineral can be used in a lot of ways and for a lot of different things.

At Francini Marble, we make it a point to get the right raw material from the right sources. We also make it a point to produce the right finished goods. This is the secret behind our success. Prospective customers can simply visit any of our warehouse locations in California, Salt Lake City-Utah or Boise-Idaho and see things for themselves.
