What is Vetrite?

Beauty Meets Function

When it comes to high quality natural and engineered surfaces, you want the ideal blend to be balanced between durability and beauty. You also want the right mix of form and function.

Marble, granite, soapstone, and limestone all make for naturally resilient, durable, and beautiful cladding materials, but if you are in the market for a more exotic aesthetic looking material, try Vetrite.

The Beauty and Durability of Vetrite

Vetrite is an engineered product made from glass, fabric, and a polymer film coating. Vetrite is created by stretching fabric, metal leaf, or other unique materials between two glass panels then coating it through a polymer laminating process. The result is an decorative, artistically stunning material with a versatility to clad multiple surfaces around your home or business. Regardless of the installation location, Vetritie offers the addition of a striking accent and sophistication to your property's interior.

Vetrite is a large format material, meaning the finished product is available in large surface area slabs of varying thickness. Vetrite glass slabs are available up to 47 1/4" x 110 1/4" in either 0 1/4" or 0 1/2" thin, depending on each particular application. Slabs come thinly cut by default, but custom order dimensions are available.

What Are the Applications of Vetrite?

Despite being a glass-based cladding material, Vetrite is extremely versatile. Vetrite is easily adaptable to a variety of surfaces and can be applied to residential and commercial remodeling projects. Its various ambitions applications include:

  • Countertops
  • Shower and bath interiors
  • Flooring
  • Staircase design
  • Custom cabinet facades
  • Kitchen and bathroom backsplashes
  • Wall and furniture accents
  • Light fixtures
  • Custom interiors for boats, RVs, and other luxury, recreational vehicles
  • Commercial signage

Caring for Your Vetrite Surface

Vetrite is made with durability in mind. However, it still is a glass-based product so use care during installation, and treat it as you would any other glass product. In order to care for your Vetrite, you can use any normal glass cleaner, although a mixture of vinegar and warm water applied with a clean rag is recommended. Routine maintenance will keep the beautiful color, patterns, and finish of your Vetrite surfaces looking bold and vibrant.
